Job Summary
This is a leadership position for a globally significant technical building services provider within a multinational construction and technology group. As the Head of Technical Planning, you will take full responsibility for the holistic planning, coordination, and implementation of complex HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) and sanitary systems for both private and public sector clients. Your daily activities involve managing technical designs, performing HLSK calculations, developing concepts for new builds and renovations, and overseeing the entire project lifecycle from tendering to final acceptance. You will lead a dedicated planning team, ensuring compliance with strict technical standards (DIN, VDI, HOAI) while maintaining budget and schedule targets. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Building Services Engineering, Energy Technology, or a similar advanced qualification as an HVAC Technician (HLS-Techniker).
Experience
- Long-term professional expertise in the planning of HVAC systems, ideally within large-scale project business for new constructions and existing buildings
- Proven leadership experience managing technical planning teams
- Practical experience in tendering processes and the evaluation of subcontractor bids
- Extensive experience with HOAI service phases 1-5 and workshop/assembly planning (W&M)
- Expert knowledge in HVAC project business including costs, margins, and supplementary claims
- Experience using relevant technical planning and calculation software tools

- The role requires expertise in German-specific engineering regulations including DIN, VDI, VOB, and HOAI. Candidates must demonstrate high resilience for managing parallel large-scale projects and act as a moderator between planning, project management, and execution.
