Job Summary
As an Electrical Technician at KWMSys, you will play a vital role in environmental protection by installing and maintaining advanced flood and heavy rain early warning systems. Your daily activities will involve the physical installation, commissioning, and maintenance of sensors, water level measuring stations, and LoRaWAN® gateways in various outdoor terrains. You will be responsible for laying cables, setting up electrical infrastructure, and performing troubleshooting and repairs on existing monitoring systems. This role is highly dynamic, offering a mix of workshop preparation and field-based assembly work. It is particularly attractive for those interested in IoT technologies and environmental monitoring, as you will work directly with cutting-edge sensor technology to protect communities from natural hazards within an agile, small-team environment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electrician, Electronics Technician (e.g., for Industrial Engineering, Energy and Building Technology), or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in the installation and maintenance of electrical or electronic systems
- Experience in low-voltage technology and measurement technology
- Experience in documenting electrical systems according to applicable standards and regulations
- Experience in field assembly or outdoor technical service

- Valid Class B driver's license is required. Must be willing to travel for field assignments within the region.
