Job Summary
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end planning and design of control cabinets and switchgear specifically for heating systems. Your daily activities involve the technical selection of devices and components to ensure optimal system performance. You will be hands-on with industry-standard CAD software to create comprehensive circuit diagrams, parts lists, and cable schedules. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong technical background in electrical engineering who enjoys seeing a project move from the drawing board to physical implementation. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Technical Drafter in Electrical Engineering with additional qualification as a Technician or a comparable degree.
Experience
- Professional experience as a Technical Drafter specialized in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in the planning and construction of switchgear for heating systems
- Practical experience in creating circuit diagrams, parts lists, and cable lists
- Demonstrated technical understanding of electrical components and device selection
Languages
Additional
- Must have proficiency in either Eplan P8 or WS CAD software.
