This role is based in Regensburg and focuses on the high-precision testing and diagnostics of motors and generators. As a Test Field Technician, your day-to-day activities will involve conducting preliminary, intermediate, and final inspections, operating high-voltage testing equipment, and evaluating measurement data for plausibility. You will be responsible for creating detailed diagnostic reports and measurement protocols, ensuring all components match technical drawings. Beyond the workshop, you will perform on-site measurements at external locations, requiring direct communication with customers and partners. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Machines and Drive Technology, Electric Machine Builder, Mechatronics Technician, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in testing, diagnostics, or maintenance of motors, generators, or windings.
  • Experience in operating high-voltage testing systems and measurement tools.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Experience in documenting technical measurements and creating diagnostic protocols.
  • Experience in customer-facing technical service or on-site external assignments.

Additional

  • A valid driver's license (Class B/PKW) is mandatory for external site visits. Willingness to travel to external construction sites for measurements is required. Certifications for crane operations (DGUV-G 309-003) or as a slinger (DGUV-I 209-013) are preferred.
