Job Summary
This role involves working for an internationally active technology company based in Wedel, focusing on the production and maintenance of electronic components. As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for the independent operation of fully automated SMT (Surface Mount Technology) assembly lines. Your daily tasks include setting up and retooling SMT systems—covering printing, SPI, placement, ovens, and AOI—as well as managing material supply via feeders. You will also perform manual SMT soldering, rework on PCBs, and conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting. This position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who enjoy technical precision and automated manufacturing environments. The role offers an attractive starting wage of €21/hour, comprehensive shift bonuses, and a clear path toward permanent employment after an initial temporary period.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician (Devices and Systems, Industrial Engineering), Device Technician, Mechatronics Technician, or a comparable technical qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience as an Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems is required
- Experience in operating fully automated SMT assembly lines
- Experience in manual soldering and reworking of SMT-populated circuit boards
- Experience in performing maintenance and resolving technical malfunctions on industrial equipment

- Must be willing to work in a 2-shift system. Candidates must demonstrate an independent, precise, and careful working style. Location is accessible by public transport in Wedel.
