Job Summary
The Administration of the Landtag Brandenburg is seeking a dedicated IT professional to ensure the smooth operation of parliamentary IT infrastructure and networks. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of Windows and Linux server operating systems, managing Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, and SQL Server clusters. You will oversee virtualization environments using vSphere and Proxmox, maintain LAN/WLAN availability via Cisco ISE, and implement critical IT security measures. This position is ideal for a proactive problem-solver with a passion for command-line work and open-source software. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor's or equivalent) in Computer Science, Informatics, or equivalent skills and experience.
Experience
- At least 3 years of practical experience as an IT Administrator, preferably within the specified systems and networks
- Professional experience in server administration (Windows and Linux)
- Experience in managing virtualization environments and database clusters
- Demonstrated experience in network access management and security monitoring
