As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of complex data pipelines designed to process and analyze customer data. Your daily activities will include building and operating data infrastructure for analytics and machine learning applications, integrating various data sources into existing platforms, and documenting technical concepts. You will work closely with a cross-functional team to optimize the customer experience through data-driven solutions while implementing modern development processes like CI/CD, DevOps, and MLOps. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the development and operation of data processing pipelines
  • Extensive experience integrating heterogeneous data sources such as HTTP interfaces and relational databases
  • Proven expertise in using Python and Apache Spark, preferably within a Databricks environment
  • Strong background in Microsoft Azure cloud services
  • Experience with modern development methodologies including DevOps and MLOps
