Job Summary
As a Technical Project Lead for Electrical Application Engineering, you will be the key technical authority for electrical systems within decentralized energy systems (Gensets), overseeing projects from initial concept and quotation through design, implementation, small-batch production, and customer handover. This role involves acting as the primary customer interface, coordinating requirements with internal technical teams and suppliers, and ensuring the successful implementation of technical solutions while adhering to timelines, budget, local regulations, and international standards. You will drive the technical development of electrical systems for critical infrastructure like data centers and microgrids, lead technical teams, and contribute to standardizing solutions and improving project efficiency.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Automation Technology, or comparable qualification. Very good knowledge in one of the following: Medium Voltage Systems Design (HV-3 certified), Automation Technology systems (e.g., PLC controls), or Electrical Schematics/Electrical Installations in plant and control cabinet construction.
Experience
- Professional experience in project management
- Experience in a production environment (advantageous)
- Experience in evaluating, reviewing, and approving customer and supplier requirements/specifications
- Experience in leading technical project teams (internal and external)
