Job Summary

This role involves supporting the legal and administrative securing of the NATO long-distance pipeline system, which supplies military fuel depots and airfields across Germany. Working for the Institute for Federal Real Estate (BImA), you will assist the case management team in the acquisition, administration, and reversal of oil pipeline rights. Your day-to-day tasks include researching land registry documents, procuring cadastral maps, and maintaining property and contract data within a Geographic Information System (GIS). You will also be responsible for digitizing documents and coordinating with property owners. This position is unique as it offers a stable public service career with a direct impact on national and international security infrastructure. It is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with a background in administration or real estate law who enjoy a mix of office-based data management and occasional field-related travel.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Federal Administrative Assistant, Legal and Notary Assistant, or a commercial qualification such as Office Management Specialist.

Experience

  • Professional experience in administrative or commercial roles
  • Experience in property law or land registry management is preferred
  • Experience using Geographic Information Systems (ArcGIS/AED-SICAD) is desirable
  • Proven ability to handle complex administrative documentation and data maintenance
  • Experience working within public sector or legal frameworks
