Job Summary

This role involves leading the digital transformation within the Youth and Social Welfare Office of the Ostprignitz-Ruppin district. You will be responsible for identifying optimization potential in existing workflows and implementing digital strategies, such as electronic files (eAkte), digital applications, and document management systems. A significant part of the role focuses on the administration and security of the specialized software 'PROSOZ14+', where you will manage system parameters, user permissions, and ensure compliance with social security laws (SGB VIII). Additionally, you will provide ongoing training and guidance to colleagues on software usage. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys bridging the gap between IT systems and public administration. The role offers a permanent contract with 30 hours per week, flexible working models, and the stability of the TVöD-VKA public service salary structure in a scenic region of Brandenburg.

Required Skills

Education

Completed Bachelor's degree in IT, Project Management, Process Management, or a comparable university degree.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the implementation of digitalization projects
  • Experience in evaluating and optimizing work processes and strategies
  • Experience in system administration and maintaining specialized software applications
  • Proven experience in handling legal regulations, specifically social security law (SGB VIII)
  • Experience in providing technical guidance and instruction to staff
