Job Summary

As the Group Lead for Coordination and Technology within the Primary Technology department, you will play a pivotal role in modernizing Berlin's 36,000-kilometer power grid. You will lead and develop a team of approximately 10 technicians and engineers, managing both disciplinary and technical responsibilities. Your day-to-day involves overseeing the operation and maintenance of high-voltage cable networks, ensuring efficient workflows, and coordinating with authorities and external partners. You will support large-scale construction and renovation projects, manage commissioning processes, and participate in on-call services. This role is ideal for a proactive leader with a strong background in electrical engineering who wants to drive the energy transition in a major metropolitan area. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Several years of relevant professional experience in technical network operations, ideally in the high-voltage sector
  • Experience in personnel leadership or a strong readiness to take on leadership responsibility based on technical expertise
  • Professional experience in technical planning and commissioning of power grid infrastructure
  • Proven track record in structured work methods and stakeholder communication
