Job Summary

As a Communications Technology Engineer based in Memmingen, you will be responsible for the hardware development of highly complex VHF/UHF radio equipment used globally in stationary and maritime environments. Your daily activities will involve designing, developing, and optimizing electronic circuits, performing hardware simulations, and selecting critical components. You will play a vital role in the product lifecycle, ensuring long-term serviceability and delivery through technical measures. Additionally, you will manage the transition to series production by conducting design reviews, defining testing specifications, and qualifying assemblies. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about high-frequency (RF) technology who enjoy working in interdisciplinary, multi-site teams. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Communications Engineering, Telecommunications, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the design and optimization of complex electronic circuits for radio equipment
  • Practical and theoretical experience in high-frequency (RF) circuit and measurement technology
  • Experience in conducting hardware simulations and component selection
  • Experience in series production transitions, including design reviews and qualification of assemblies
  • Proven experience working in interdisciplinary and multi-site development teams
