Job Summary
As a Project Manager and Specialist Engineer for Traffic Route Construction at the Vogtlandkreis District Office, you will play a pivotal role in modernizing regional infrastructure. Your daily responsibilities will involve the end-to-end management of complex road and civil engineering projects, from initial planning and cost calculation to construction supervision and final acceptance. You will act as the primary client representative, coordinating with specialist planners and ensuring all work meets technical standards and budgetary requirements. This part-time position (35 hours) offers a unique blend of technical engineering and administrative management, including the handling of public funding and technical documentation. Required Skills
Education
Completed (or nearing completion within one year) University degree in Civil Engineering (Diploma, Bachelor, or Master) specializing in Underground, Road, or Structural Engineering.
Experience
- Professional experience in civil engineering, specifically in road, underground, or structural engineering
- Experience in planning, calculating, and realizing complex construction measures
- Professional experience in construction site management and technical acceptance
- Experience with public funding applications and budget management
- Knowledge of German building contract law (VOB and HOAI) is highly desirable
