As a Maintenance & Spares Engineer, you will play a critical role in the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) lifecycle for complex maritime and defense systems, specifically submarines and ships. Your daily responsibilities involve evaluating technical supplier documentation, defining material maintenance strategies, and optimizing spare parts requirements based on reliability data and usage profiles. You will act as a key technical liaison, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, suppliers, and military clients to validate logistical resources, including tools, lubricants, and personnel qualifications. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Engineering or certified Technician training with additional qualifications in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS).

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the HVR/ILS environment, preferably within German Armed Forces projects.
  • Extensive experience in weapon, ship, or submarine technology.
  • Proven track record in managing technically complex engineering projects.
  • Several years of practical experience with ASD specifications S1000D, S2000M, S3000L, and S4000P.
  • Experience in material maintenance planning and logistics resource determination.
