This role involves shaping the data platform for corporate controlling by managing the entire lifecycle from data sources to decision-relevant KPIs. As an Application Manager in the Internal IT department, you will be responsible for building and evolving Data Warehouse and Data Lake architectures using modern cloud technologies. Your day-to-day tasks include developing data pipelines within Microsoft Fabric, modeling data for financial controlling, and ensuring high data quality and performance. By creating sophisticated data models, you will enable accurate forecasts and KPI systems that drive strategic business decisions. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training or university degree in the IT field or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in building and operating Data Warehouse and Data Lake architectures
- Experience in developing modern data platforms using Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric
- Proficient in programming with Python and PySpark for data processing
- Experience in data modeling and pipeline development specifically for controlling and KPI systems
- Experience in collaborating with business departments to translate requirements into technical solutions
