Job Summary

As a Digitalization Policy Officer within the 'Efficient Enforcement' competence center at the Federal Ministry for the Environment, you will play a pivotal role in modernizing state administration. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve coordinating the digitalization of enforcement tasks, integrating AI solutions, and ensuring compliance with federal legal frameworks such as the OZG and EGovG. You will act as a (co-)project manager, steering IT service providers and developing conceptual models for program structures and KPIs. This position is unique for its focus on cross-authority synergy, aiming to create reusable digital solutions across federal and state levels. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or equivalent university degree, preferably in Administrative Sciences, Public Management, or Administrative Informatics.

Experience

  • Professional experience in a top-level or upper federal or state authority
  • Extensive experience in administrative digitalization and legal frameworks
  • Proven experience in process optimization and modeling using BPMN 2.0
  • Experience in managing external IT service providers
  • Professional experience in (agile) program or project management
  • Experience in data management and IT architecture
