Job Summary

As a Service Technician for Security Systems at Renz Sicherheitstechnik, you will be responsible for the end-to-end technical lifecycle of advanced security infrastructure in the Dornstadt (Ulm) region. Your daily activities include the assembly, installation, programming, and commissioning of various systems such as fire alarms, intrusion detection, access control, and video surveillance. Beyond installation, you will perform critical maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing according to strict German and European standards (DIN VDE, EN 54, DIN 14675). This role is highly customer-facing, requiring you to conduct system handovers and client training sessions. The position is particularly attractive due to the provision of a company car for private use, high-end technical equipment including an iPhone and iPad, and a secure, permanent contract with 30 days of annual leave. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or Communication Technology (e.g., Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Technology or Information Electronics Technician).

Experience

  • Practical experience in the assembly, service, commissioning, and maintenance of security systems
  • Demonstrated experience working with technical standards such as DIN VDE, EN 54, and DIN 14675
