Job Summary

As an Electrical Engineer or Automation Technician at battenfeld-cincinnati, you will play a central role in the technical clarification and implementation of customer orders for extrusion machinery. Your day-to-day responsibilities include the independent creation and maintenance of PLC programs and documentation according to IEC 61131 standards, specifically using B&R Automation Studio. You will be responsible for creating visualizations, commissioning machines at the factory, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as the Cyber Resilience Act. Beyond technical development, you will provide expert support and training for electrical assembly and service teams. This position offers a unique opportunity to work for a global technology leader in plastic extrusion, combining hands-on commissioning with high-level software engineering.
