As a (Senior) Research Manager at innoLAB, the innovation incubator for DHC Business Solutions, you will bridge the gap between theoretical research and practical market solutions. Your day-to-day involves leading research projects from initial concept through to market-ready applications, with a heavy focus on Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence. You will be responsible for managing partnerships, designing technical use cases—specifically involving Machine Learning and data-driven technologies—and integrating complex components into scalable systems. This role is unique because it combines strategic project acquisition and conceptual design with hands-on operational implementation within an Open-Innovation framework. You will work in a dynamic environment where you actively shape new business models and services that have a measurable impact on industry standards.
Required Skills
Education
Master's degree or Diploma in (Business) Informatics, Data Science, or a comparable field; a PhD (Promotion) is considered a plus.
Experience
- Professional experience in managing research projects, specifically within AI, data analysis, or digital technologies
- Experience in the conceptualization and application process for research funding/projects
- Proven track record in translating research results into practical, marketable applications
- Experience in managing cooperation with external partners and stakeholders
