Job Summary
As a Telecommunications Service Technician based in Esslingen, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of modern network technology across fixed-line, mobile, and e-mobility charging infrastructures. Your day-to-day work involves the installation, maintenance, and expansion of network components for major providers, including routing and switching tasks. This is a hands-on field role that requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and performing tasks at heights, such as on mobile towers. You will also participate in an on-call rotation approximately every six weeks. This position is ideal for proactive individuals who enjoy technical problem-solving and independent work. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in the field of Electronics or Telecommunications, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience
- Professional experience as an Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, or Service Technician
- Experience in electrical engineering or status as a qualified electrician (Elektrofachkraft) preferred
- Experience in telecommunications or charging infrastructure is an advantage
- Career changers with technical interest and manual skills are welcome
- Experience and willingness to work at heights (e.g., on mobile masts)
Languages
Additional
- Valid Class B driver's license is mandatory. Must be physically fit and willing to participate in on-call rotations (approx. every 6 weeks). Ability to work at heights is required.
