Job Summary
As an IT Administrator for RoMed Vocational Schools, you will be the primary technical lead for digital school administration and system stability. Your daily responsibilities include managing specialized educational software such as PlanACAD and BayernCloud Schule, overseeing MS Teams accounts, and ensuring the smooth operation of digital textbooks and hardware. You will serve as a vital bridge between the schools and the central IT department, handling change requests, troubleshooting software bugs, and implementing IT security standards in compliance with GDPR. Beyond technical maintenance, you will play a proactive role in digital transformation by training colleagues on AI and digital formats, shaping the long-term digital strategy, and managing funding applications for IT equipment. This role is ideal for a communicative professional who enjoys both hands-on technical support and the strategic development of modern educational environments.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration, IT Systems Electronics Technician, a degree in IT, or an equivalent qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT system integration or electronic systems
- Experience in managing software applications, networks, and databases
- Proven track record in conducting technical training and workshops for staff
- Experience in IT project implementation and change request management
- Familiarity with IT security standards and data protection regulations
