In this role, you will act as a key bridge between banking business requirements and technical IT solutions within the Core Banking business field. Working in an agile, cross-functional squad focused on turnover, booking, and omni-channel platforms, your daily activities will include analyzing customer requests, developing functional and technical concepts for complex problems, and collaborating closely with specialist departments. You will play a vital role in quality assurance by creating test cases, test data, and documentation across various development stages. This position is particularly attractive due to its high level of flexibility, offering a hybrid work model and customizable working hours between 30 and 40 hours per week. You will be part of a large-scale digital transformation partner for the German cooperative financial group, impacting over 30 million banking customers while working with modern technologies like AI and Smart Data in a stable, collective-agreement environment.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in (Business) Informatics, Computer Science, or alternatively a degree in Banking/Finance with relevant professional experience.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in a banking or financial environment
  • Proven experience in application development or technical systems analysis
  • Practical experience working within an agile Scrum framework
  • Experience in creating functional and technical concepts for complex IT solutions
  • Professional experience in quality assurance, including test case creation and documentation
