Job Summary
This role involves developing and implementing monitoring and control systems for commercial vessels, special-purpose ships, and mega yachts. As a PLC Programmer, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of control software, from analyzing requirements and creating technical concepts to programming in SCL using the Siemens TIA Portal. You will integrate these controls with SCADA frontends via OPC UA and conduct rigorous testing and simulations. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a comparable qualification; alternatively, a Technician or Master Craftsman (Meister) degree.
Experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience in PLC programming
- Proven experience with Siemens TIA Portal and SCL programming
- Professional experience in control requirement analysis and technical concept creation
- Experience in software testing and simulation for control systems
