Job Summary

As a DWDM Transport Network Technician, you will be responsible for the control and optimization of optical transmission systems across central network connections. Your daily activities involve managing the interaction between NE2/NE3 infrastructure and the higher-level transport network where data is bundled and forwarded. Key tasks include analyzing signal quality (OSNR, Bit Error Rate), troubleshooting faults between PoP sites, and configuring DWDM systems using CLI or manufacturer-specific tools. You will also perform acceptance tests and performance checks following commissioning. This role is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy field-based work and nationwide travel.
