Job Summary

As a Fiber Optic DWDM Technician, you will be responsible for the transmission of large data volumes across existing fiber optic routes throughout Germany. Your day-to-day activities involve the configuration of DWDM systems, setting up wavelengths and channels, and performing critical measurements such as OSNR and Bit Error Rate to evaluate signal quality. You will play a vital role in bridging NE2/NE3 infrastructure and transport networks, ensuring stable and high-performance connections. The role requires analyzing and troubleshooting faults between Point of Presence (PoP) locations and documenting results for operational handover. This position is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy field work and nationwide travel.
