Job Summary

As a DWDM Service Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing data transmission across existing fiber optic networks. Your daily responsibilities involve setting up and readjusting wavelengths on transmission links, evaluating measurement results to assess line quality, and conducting functional and load tests following network changes. You will be tasked with identifying the root causes of quality drops or connection failures and adjusting system settings to ensure network stability. This position is highly mobile, involving nationwide travel across Germany to work on interfaces between Network Level 2 (NE2) and Network Level 3 (NE3) infrastructures. The role offers a competitive salary between €45,000 and €55,000 and the opportunity to work on high-level regional network connections.
