Job Summary
This role involves working within the Managing Authority for EU Structural Funds in Saxony-Anhalt, specifically focusing on the ERDF, ESF, and JTF programs. You will be responsible for the strategic implementation of EU regulations at the state level, which includes drafting administrative decrees and analyzing legal texts to ensure compliance. A significant portion of the day-to-day work involves conceptualizing simplified cost options (SCO) and financing not linked to costs (FNLC), as well as coordinating with intermediate bodies and technical departments. This position is ideal for a legal or administrative professional who enjoys complex regulatory environments and strategic planning. The role offers a permanent contract, flexible working arrangements including partial home office, and the opportunity to work at the intersection of European policy and regional development in Magdeburg.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Law or Administrative Sciences, or qualification for the general administrative service (Career Group 2, First Entry Level).
Experience
- Professional experience in legal or administrative services within a public authority context
- Demonstrated experience in handling laws, regulations, and administrative provisions at state, federal, and EU levels
- Experience in managing or implementing EU structural funds (ERDF/ESF) is highly desirable
- Experience in public procurement, contract law, or public budgeting is preferred
- Experience in developing simplified cost options or financial coordination is an advantage
