Job Summary

This role involves conducting instrumental analysis of water, soil, and plant samples at the Bavarian State Institute for Forestry. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing samples through filtration, extraction, and digestion, as well as operating advanced analytical equipment such as ICP-OES, ICP-MS, and ion chromatography. You will be responsible for the maintenance of laboratory instruments and the systematic recording and evaluation of data. This position is ideal for both experienced professionals and career starters who possess a background in chemistry or environmental technology. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), Environmental Technical Assistant (UTA), Chemical Laboratory Technician, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in chemical laboratory environments or instrumental analysis is preferred.
  • Experience in sample preparation techniques such as microwave pressure digestion or salt extraction.
  • Experience with data processing and laboratory organization tasks.
  • Career starters with relevant vocational training are explicitly encouraged to apply.
