Job Summary
As an IT Service Desk Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for technical support, handling incoming tickets via telephone and remote maintenance. Your daily responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, documenting solution processes in the knowledge base, and escalating complex cases to specialized departments. You will play a key role in ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met while taking ownership of monitoring, reporting, and process optimization. This position is ideal for proactive professionals who enjoy problem-solving and quality assurance in a high-performance environment. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training, university degree, or comparable qualification in the field of Information Technology.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT support or service desk environments
- Experience with ticket systems such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Management
- Practical knowledge of ITIL processes and SLA management
- Experience in remote hardware and software troubleshooting
- Experience in documenting technical solutions and knowledge base entries
