Job Summary

This role is for a detail-oriented Commissioning Technician specializing in rail technology and safety systems. You will be responsible for testing and commissioning control and safety technology, including digital interlocking systems, ensuring their flawless operation. A key part of your day-to-day will involve diagnosing technical faults, developing effective solutions, and collaborating closely with both clients and internal teams. You'll also maintain meticulous documentation of all processes, support client training initiatives, and perform occasional maintenance and repair on railway signaling systems. This position requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to ensuring high system reliability and customer satisfaction, contributing significantly to successful project implementation.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Railway Signaling Technology, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in a relevant technical field is advantageous
  • Experience in mastering complex technical challenges
  • Experience understanding both technical and economic contexts

German (Fluent)English (Basic)

  • High willingness to travel and flexibility, including outside regular working hours. Valid Class B driving license. Participation in on-call duties.
