Job Summary
This role involves the assembly and installation of active components within large-scale transformer construction, including transformers, reactors, and phase shifters. Based in Weiz, Styria, the successful candidate will perform precise assembly steps according to technical drawings and work instructions, ensuring all components are connected, bolted, and adjusted to meet strict quality and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include conducting functional tests and visual inspections to verify the fit and operation of assembled parts. This position is ideal for skilled workers who thrive in a structured industrial environment and are committed to safety and environmental standards. The role offers a competitive monthly salary of €3,448.15 plus shift allowances, providing a stable, long-term opportunity within a supportive team atmosphere. Candidates must be comfortable working at heights and willing to participate in a three-shift rotation.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a skilled worker in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or Gas/Water/Heating Technology.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or automotive technology is preferred
- Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions
- Experience in large-scale industrial assembly or transformer construction is an advantage
- Experience working in a multi-shift environment (3-shift rotation)

Additional
- Must be willing to work a 3-shift rotation and overtime. Must be comfortable working at heights (not afraid of heights). Possession of a crane license for loads greater than 300kN is an advantage. Location: Weiz, Styria.
