As an IT System Administrator at Taros, you will play a pivotal role in driving the digitalization of a growing chemical-technical services company based in Dortmund. Your daily responsibilities include providing first and second-level support, managing the IT environment, and coordinating with external service providers. You will be deeply involved in strategic project management, redesigning hardware and software infrastructure, and reporting directly to the managing director. The role balances technical maintenance—such as server and network administration—with high-level advisory tasks for various departments. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training or university degree in the IT field.
Experience
- Professional experience in network administration, technical documentation, and monitoring
- Experience in managing Windows and Linux environments, virtualization, and Active Directory
- Experience in managing IT projects and modernizing infrastructure
- Experience in coordinating external service providers
- Experience in user support and service-oriented IT operations
