As an Engineer or Technician for Instrumentation, Control (I&C), and Building Automation, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, design, and implementation of advanced technical building systems. Your daily responsibilities involve developing automation concepts for HVAC and energy systems, creating functional descriptions, and designing circuit diagrams. You will be hands-on with the programming and parameterization of DDC/PLC controllers and visualization systems, ensuring seamless integration of subsystems via protocols like BACnet and KNX. Beyond technical design, you will coordinate with subcontractors and oversee the commissioning and optimization phases of projects. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Building Automation, or Technical Building Services (TGA); or advanced training as a certified Technician or Master Craftsman (Techniker/Meister).

Experience

  • Professional experience in I&C/Building Automation planning or project execution
  • Practical experience within the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) environment
  • Proven experience in programming DDC/PLC systems and visualization software
  • Experience in integrating and networking technical building subsystems
  • Experience in technical consulting and customer support for optimization projects
