Job Summary
As a Cloud Security Engineer focusing on the Palo Alto platform, you will be responsible for the configuration and operation of the Palo Alto Secure Web Gateway (SWG) to monitor and control internet traffic. Your daily activities will involve analyzing and blocking potential threats using Threat Prevention tools to safeguard IT workstations and developing access policies at the application layer. You will play a critical role in protecting sensitive corporate data through Data Loss Prevention and content control measures. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can distinguish security incidents from false alarms and implement effective countermeasures. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Computer Science or a comparable vocational training/qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in operating the Palo Alto platform
- Experience in network analysis and troubleshooting using tools like Wireshark
- Proven knowledge of malware techniques and common internet attack patterns
- Professional experience with SSL/TLS protocols, PKI, and CA trust chains
- Experience in developing security policies and managing threat prevention measures
