Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position within the City of Delmenhorst's Building Management department involves overseeing the electrical engineering lifecycle for municipal properties. As a key member of the building maintenance and renovation team, you will independently lead and manage projects, coordinating with external engineering firms and specialists. Your daily responsibilities include handling all work phases (1-9) of the HOAI (Official Scale of Fees for Services by Architects and Engineers) for medium to large-scale renovations, extensions, and modernizations. Additionally, you will be responsible for risk management, safety monitoring in public buildings, and strategic planning for the sustainable development of city real estate. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor, Master, or Diploma) in Electrical Engineering or a comparable engineering science field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in managing all HOAI service phases for building projects.
  • Experience in coordinating external engineering firms and specialized consultants.
  • Experience in public administration workflows and procurement regulations is preferred.
