Job Summary
As a PLC Programmer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development and optimization of PLC programs for automated systems and machinery. Your daily activities will involve programming control systems, performing on-site commissioning at customer locations, and conducting thorough error analysis and troubleshooting on existing controls. You will also create user-friendly visualizations using tools like WinCC or TIA Portal and maintain detailed software documentation. Collaboration is a key part of this role, as you will work closely with electrical design, control cabinet construction, and mechanical engineering teams. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training or university degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a comparable field.
Experience
- Professional experience in PLC programming using Siemens S7, TIA Portal, or Beckhoff TwinCAT
- Practical experience in the commissioning of industrial machines and plants
- Experience in creating HMI visualizations for automated systems
- Proven background in structured error analysis and software optimization
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to travel to customer sites for on-site commissioning is required.
