Job Summary
As a Systems Engineer for Heat Pumps, you will lead technical development projects from initial specification through to prototype testing. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve optimizing and qualifying heat pump systems, analyzing emerging technologies, and conducting rigorous laboratory tests to evaluate performance. You will be instrumental in selecting and coordinating new components with external suppliers and partners, ensuring seamless industrialization and continuous product improvement. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy working across the full product lifecycle, combining hands-on lab work with strategic project management. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Thermodynamics, Energy Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in research, development, or application engineering for heat pumps and heating systems
- Proven experience in leading technical projects within interdisciplinary teams
- Extensive experience in planning and executing laboratory tests and data analysis
- Experience in the optimization and qualification of thermal systems
