Job Summary

As a Service Technician for Security Systems, you will be responsible for the end-to-end technical lifecycle of critical safety infrastructure, including fire alarm, intrusion detection, and voice alarm systems. Your daily activities will involve the installation, commissioning, and professional maintenance of these systems, alongside performing detailed inspections and troubleshooting technical malfunctions. A core part of the role includes programming and parameterizing systems according to manufacturer specifications and ensuring all work complies with strict DIN VDE and VdS standards. You will act as a primary technical contact for customers on-site, providing expert support and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation and test reports. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Technology, Information Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, or a comparable technical qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in security technology, specifically with fire and burglary alarm systems
  • Practical experience with industry-standard systems such as Honeywell, Hekatron, or Esser
  • Proven experience in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of building electronics
  • Experience in handling PC-based diagnostic and configuration tools
