Job Summary
As an Energy Manager for the municipality of Efringen-Kirchen, you will lead a three-year funded project focused on establishing technical and organizational structures for municipal energy management. Your daily responsibilities will involve identifying energy-saving potentials, managing large-scale renovation and construction projects in utility and electrical engineering, and implementing energy monitoring systems across municipal properties. You will play a key role in promoting renewable energy sources like photovoltaics and geothermal energy while optimizing energy procurement and billing. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys a mix of technical oversight, project management, and strategic planning. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Building or Energy Management, Energy Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a comparable professional qualification. Additional qualification as an Energy Consultant is preferred.
Experience
- Professional experience in energy management, renewable energies, and energy law is preferred
- Experience in project management and public administration is highly advantageous
- Proven track record in managing renovation, conversion, and new construction projects in utility or electrical engineering
