Job Summary
As the Deputy Department Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the end-to-end production process for glass manufacturing. Your daily responsibilities include managing the receipt and quality control of raw materials, supervising the precise weighing and mixing of batches, and monitoring the entire melting and refining process. You will be responsible for recipe maintenance and calculations, ensuring chemical processes are executed correctly. Beyond technical oversight, you will lead personnel within the batch and generation department, ensuring operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This position is ideal for a technical professional with leadership experience who enjoys a mix of hands-on process monitoring and strategic planning. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in a technical field or a technical degree; further qualification as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or Technician is required.
