This role involves managing diverse civil engineering projects for the Amt Föhr-Amrum administration, located on the scenic islands of Föhr and Amrum. As a Civil Engineer, you will oversee all project phases (HOAI 1-9), focusing on road and path construction, maintenance of technical facilities, and urban drainage systems. Your daily responsibilities include coordinating external planners, budgeting for construction measures, and advising citizens and political committees. You will also play a key role in wastewater treatment plant management and coastal protection efforts. Education
University degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Civil Engineering and/or Road Construction.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in the field of civil engineering is preferred
- Experience in planning, tendering, and executing construction projects
- Professional experience in road and path construction
- Experience in monitoring and coordinating external specialist planners
- Experience with public procurement law and technical software (CAD, tendering programs)

- Valid Class B driver's license required. Willingness to attend meetings outside regular hours and travel to Amrum. Must provide a current certificate of good conduct (Führungszeugnis) upon hiring. Work location is Wyk auf Föhr.
