As a Quality Assurance Specialist for Botanicals, you will play a central role in ensuring that products—ranging from medicinal teas and active ingredients to herbal powders—comply with legal requirements, internal standards, and customer specifications. Your daily responsibilities include managing quality parameters within the SAP workflow, updating inspection plans and specifications, and defining sampling procedures. You will serve as a key point of contact for the internal PhytoLab laboratory and cross-functional departments. This position is ideal for those who value precision and want to contribute to a sustainable company that bridges the gap between the food and pharmaceutical industries. The role offers a collaborative environment within a team of 18 professionals, featuring a structured onboarding process and the flexibility of a 30+ hour work week. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical or scientific degree (e.g., Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or Food Science) or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in analytics, product quality, or routine quality assurance topics is highly desirable
- Profound knowledge of analytical laboratory methods and botanical product regulations
- Experience working with SAP and quality management systems
- Proven ability in organizational management and independent, precise work
