Job Summary

This role is based at the Albrecht von Haller Institute for Plant Sciences at the University of Göttingen, where you will join an international team studying the interactions between model plants and pathogens. On a day-to-day basis, you will perform essential laboratory tasks including the preparation of buffers and media, molecular biology work such as cloning and genotyping, and biochemical analyses like protein isolation and Western Blotting. You will also be responsible for plant transformation, the cultivation of plant materials, and conducting microscopic examinations. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Biological Technical Assistant (BTA) or equivalent qualification in biological sciences.

Experience

  • Practical experience with biochemical and molecular biological techniques specifically in plants
