Job Summary
As a Field IT Service Technician, you will be the face of the company at customer sites, ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of network-enabled systems, primarily within the printing and imaging sector. Your daily responsibilities will include commissioning devices, conducting large-scale rollouts, and performing on-site repairs and installations that involve complex configurations. Beyond technical maintenance, you will act as a consultant by training end-users and developing efficient technical concepts to support the sales team. This role is ideal for proactive problem-solvers who enjoy a mix of hands-on technical work and customer interaction. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in the IT or electrical field, such as IT Systems Electronician, Office Systems Technology Specialist, Electronics Technician, Electrician, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in the IT sector, specifically with print-related products and systems
- Experience in commissioning and configuring network-enabled devices
- Proven track record in on-site technical support and hardware maintenance
- Experience in conducting user training and system demonstrations

- Valid Class B driver's license is mandatory. High willingness to travel is required, including multi-day business trips. Must be able to work independently and maintain a structured workflow.
