Job Summary

This role involves conducting independent microbiological tests and analyses within a laboratory setting, following strict regulations and testing plans. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for the entire testing lifecycle, including preparation, execution, and post-processing. A significant portion of the role focuses on meticulous documentation, where you will perform target-actual comparisons and record data within the SAP laboratory information system. Beyond testing, you will contribute to the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment, manage material supplies, and assist in training junior dairy laboratory technicians. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Dairy Laboratory Technician, Biology Laboratory Technician, Biological Technical Assistant (BTA), or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the field of microbiology
  • Experience in performing independent microbiological examinations and laboratory preparation
  • Experience in documenting test results and performing target-actual comparisons
  • Experience with SAP or laboratory information systems is preferred
  • Experience in training or mentoring junior laboratory staff
