Job Summary

As a Senior Project Engineer at Lahmeyer International, you will take full responsibility for the project execution of high-voltage and medium-voltage (HV/MV) substations, grid connections, and energy plants. Your day-to-day involves overseeing site assembly, commissioning, and testing while ensuring strict adherence to HSE standards. You will act as a critical coordinator between primary technology, protection and control systems, SCADA, and civil engineering partners. A significant part of the role includes managing FAT/SAT procedures, evaluating manufacturer documentation, and conducting structured reporting for claim and change management. This position is ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives in multidisciplinary environments and enjoys a mix of office-based planning and site-based commissioning. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Several years of practical experience in the planning, implementation, or construction supervision of HV/MV substations or comparable energy plants
  • Proven experience in test management, commissioning, and acceptance procedures
  • Professional experience in site management and the coordination of construction processes
  • Experience in managing interfaces between EPC partners, OEMs, and Transmission/Distribution System Operators (TSO/DSO)
