This role involves joining the Building Energy Management unit for the City of Göttingen to optimize the energy performance of municipal properties. On a day-to-day basis, you will collect and analyze data regarding the energetic and physical state of buildings, monitor consumption levels, and investigate the causes of unusual energy usage. You will be responsible for managing data via specialized energy management software, establishing remote meter reading structures, and expanding photovoltaic installations. The position uniquely combines technical analysis with field work, as you will conduct on-site inspections across the city and advise on energy-saving measures. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or University of Applied Sciences degree in Engineering (specializing in Building Construction, Energy and Thermal Technology, Supply Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Energy Consulting) OR a qualification as a State-Certified Technician in Heating/Sanitary, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Energy Consulting.

Experience
