Job Summary

This role involves joining the Clinic and Polyclinic for RadioOncology and Radiotherapy at the TUM Klinikum Rechts der Isar in Munich. As a Medical Physicist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day dosimetry and quality assurance of treatment equipment, as well as the physical-technical aspects of radiation treatment planning for patients. You will serve as a Medical Physics Expert and Radiation Protection Officer while contributing to the clinic's ongoing research projects. This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration in a high-tech clinical environment. The role offers a unique opportunity to work at a prestigious university hospital in the heart of Munich, with the possibility of obtaining specialized certification as a Medical Physics Expert on-site if not already held. It is a fixed-term 24-month contract available in both full-time and part-time capacities.

Required Skills

Education

Master's degree in Physics, Medical Physics, or an equivalent degree.

Experience

  • Professional experience in radiotherapy
  • Experience with modern techniques and therapy concepts in radiotherapy
  • Experience in interdisciplinary team collaboration
  • Ideally holds certification as a Medical Physics Expert (MPE)

Additional

  • Must have at least B2 level German proficiency. Position is fixed-term for 24 months. Role includes responsibilities as a Radiation Protection Officer.
