Job Summary

As a SCADA Engineer, you will play a critical role in the implementation, configuration, and testing of SCADA systems for large-scale photovoltaic power plants across Europe. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve selecting and evaluating SCADA and Power Plant Controller (PPC) systems that meet specific customer requirements and local grid operator regulations. You will be responsible for the integration and parameterization of field devices such as inverters, weather stations, and meters, while ensuring robust cybersecurity standards. This position is highly collaborative, requiring close coordination with engineering teams, site management, and external partners. You will also support Factory and Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT) and provide remote troubleshooting. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in SCADA, automation, or control systems is highly advantageous
  • Experience with power plant controllers or a strong willingness to develop expertise in this area
  • Experience in analyzing technical requirements and translating them into system specifications
  • Experience in supporting FAT/SAT and remote troubleshooting
