Job Summary
As a Hardware Systems Developer at HORSCH, you will play a pivotal role in the R&D Crop Care unit, focusing on the electrical design and development of innovative plant protection machinery. Your daily responsibilities include creating circuit diagrams and wiring harness designs, developing new electronic components, and integrating advanced functions into agricultural technology. You will be hands-on with the technology, overseeing the assembly and commissioning of prototypes and conducting independent field tests to ensure operational excellence. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field; or a technical qualification as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or Technician.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical design or hardware development for agricultural machinery or vehicle construction
- Practical experience in the development of wiring harnesses and mobile electronics
- Experience in the assembly, commissioning, and field testing of technical prototypes
- Proven knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN and ISOBUS
